Long Island CW Club (LICW) offers a huge selection of classes spread out over the week. They use Zoom for class delivery and are less formal in their format and syllabus, and Advisors are not dedicated to individual classes necessarily. They offer a vast selection of classes from beginner to advanced, as well as specialised sessions on “Getting on-air”, “QSO protocol”, “Fast CW”, “Wild about Bugs” and so forth.
The LICW web platform and integration is extremely impressive. It’s well worthwhile joining the club and having access to these learning sessions. LICW classes may be better suited to those unable to commit to a regular scheduled class or prefer learning at their own pace.
Membership starts at US$30 for one year. Great value when you consider the offerings.
